Directions for use

Adult dosage (19+): Mix one scoop in 1 1/2 cups (375mL) of water. Shake well.
If you are a new user of greens+, begin with 1/3 of a scoop daily and gradually increase to a full scoop daily over a 3 week period. Take with food.

Yes! greens+ extra energy is a great option for individuals with an active lifestyle looking for a boost without added artificial sugars, synthetic caffeine, or articificial colours and flavours.

Is the Kola Nut in the formula a nut and should people with nut allergies avoid them?

The Kola "nut" is a seed derived from the fruit of African Sterculiaceae trees and are distinct from classical allergenic tree nuts, so, no they are not a "nut!" However, if you are ever unsure it is always best to consult a trusted health care practitioner.

What is your caffeine source and how much is in your greens+ extra energy blend?

Our product provides 100mg of caffeine coming from the Kola nut seed, equivalent to one cup of coffee.

Why do you include lecithin in your formula?

All our greens+ start with lecithin, this is a powerful ingredient that is overlooked by most other greens companies. Research shows this powerful ingredient is essential for biological function- from treating cholesterol, to aiding in digestion, to maintaining kidney and liver function. It's also rich in phosphatidylcholine (23%), known to support brain health.¹'²
A key benefit to lecithin is the support of nutrient absorption. It has been shown in research to aid in the absorption of phytonutrients as well as fat-soluble nutrients/vitamins.

Do you test for heavy metals?

Yes! We test every lot of our greens for heavy metals. Our products fall well below the limits for heavy metals that are regulated within Canada.

Is this product vegan?

greens+ is not vegan. We have included two powerful ingredients that come from bees – royal jelly and pollen, making this product vegetarian!

Is refrigeration recommended for safety or effectiveness?

Refrigeration is not required but is recommended to provide optimal freshness after opening. Refrigeration is a controlled condition, so we know the product is not sitting on a window ledge, on top of a radiator or kept in other non-optimal storage situations. Storing in cool temperatures will also reduce oxidation and maintain stability.

Is this product organic?

greens+ is not organic because there are some ingredients in the formula that cannot be certified organic such as bee pollen and royal jelly. We’ve prioritized organic ingredients where possible such as chlorophyll rich grasses (e.g. organic alfalfa and organic chlorella). Despite not having a fully organic blend, we ensure the highest quality by including standardized extracts that guarantee potency with each dose and 3rd party testing for purity and effectiveness.

Greens+energy+cappacino flavour

I have loved this product for years!
And I love the way it makes me feel - awesome 💖 I'm glad to hear the flavour is going back to the more original cappacino flavour. To get in a new bottle I use a butter knife to let a little air in to open it, same as a lot of jars- it works!

Can't open the container and the flavour, agreed, is horrible

Hi, so I'm making the assumption an individual with super big hands redesigned the Greens+ Extra Energy container?...and no one at Genuine Health thought to do a testing with different "sized" people/hands?....I can't open the container even when I use my handy rubberized jar opener because my hand does not go around the jar. I work in the trades so I do have a very strong grip...just regular sized hands. Perhaps Mr. Brown should have someone on staff who thinks outside the box before a "major" change is commenced. And agreed, this "new and improved" flavour is horrible. (FYI - I have to literally use a knife and cut the jar open in order to use the product) (and...I have been a loyal customer to Genuine Health way back when Sam Graci was on the I believe it was the Dini Petty show). I will change back to my orange flavour because it is a great product, with my handy knife. It's the first time I have been really disappointed in your company. Stay well, Mary RHN

Thanks for sharing your feedback with us and for being a loyal greens+ consumer! We're sorry to hear that you had a hard time unscrewing the lid. We have received similar consumer feedback and are already aware of the difficulty to get this product opened. We have investigated the issue with our manufacturer and have determined that the liner (safety seal) is causing the difficulty to unscrew the lid. We anticipate switching to new thinner liners in the next few months in hopes that this will resolve the difficulty of unscrewing the lid.

Bring back the old Cappuccino flavor!

I loved this product until you made the current flavor changes, I used to take a spoonful straight into my mouth - loved the taste and how it made me feel. Now I have to find something to mix it in because it doesn't taste good at all.
