What is the difference between a whey protein isolate and concentrate? Which one is considered better?
Whey concentrate powder consists of less than 90% protein. Whey isolate powder consists of 90% or more protein and has lower lactose content. Therefore, whey isolate includes a higher quality protein source than whey concentrate.
Why should I add whey protein into my diet?
There are 20 amino acids, of which 9 are essential (meaning we can't make them in our bodies and need to get them from our diets). This can be hard to achieve consistently in our daily lives. Our whey protein isolate+ provides a complete and balanced amino acid profile so you can ensure that you're meeting your daily protein needs.
Why did we add an enzyme blend to our whey isolate, when most others don't?
We’ve added a special enzyme blend to help your body digest and absorb protein, fats and carbohydrates more easily.

Daily into yogurt is such a delicious and satisfying breakfast (berries and walnuts optional)! We also make a daily shake with the vanilla. Recommend! :)

By far my favorite
I've tried many isolate protein powders over the years, but this one is by far my favorite. Both the chocolate and vanilla flavors taste great, with no unpleasant aftertaste. The powder dissolves easily—no clumps—and it's gentle on my stomach, which is a big deal for me since I'm sensitive to lactose.
The only thing I’d love to see improved is the option for a larger jar or a monthly subscription—something to make it a bit more affordable in the long run.

I love this protein. I’ve been buying it for over 10 years. I’ve noticed this container has some small white flecks in it. Could it be the digestive enzymes? At first I thought it was plastic. Love to hear what genuine health has to say. Thank you!
Hi Lisa,
Thanks for sharing your feedback and for being a loyal consumer. The white specs are characteristic of this powder, based on the formula, the white specs are coming from the stevia as no other ingredients are white. You can feel confident our taking our products as all of our supplements are licensed by Health Canada and therefore have NPNs (Natural Product Numbers) and are tested before release. Every batch made is tested for potential contaminants; including heavy metals, microbes, pesticides and other contaminants depending on the ingredients used (solvents, PCBs, etc.). We also test for active ingredients to ensure efficacy of the product.
